He now has a tumor in his mouth that I know will take his life. At this point he is not in pain, he is eating and he is not incontinent. I am hoping that he will have a natural death by my side but if I see him in distress or pain, I will not hesitate to euthanize him. I would like to thank cloud 9 for their kindness, especially Charis for giving my beautiful boy the most calm, peaceful and dignified passing like he truly deserved. It was such a difficult & heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our lovely girl, Cassie. When I was finally able to book a date the service we received from Cloud 9 was exceptional from the 1st phone call through to visit to finally let Cassie rest in peace. David was compassionate & considerate all through the process, explaining every part of the journey taking Cassie to the bridge.
Lili looked so relaxed in her final minutes in her own bed. We have used Cloud 9 service recently for our dear cat and with a one day notice they still accommodated our requested time of day. It went well and done in a very calm, un rushed and professional way. I called on Saturday afternoon and was so glad that Cloud 9 arranged everything so quickly especially as it is difficult organising things at weekends. They worked hard in the background arranging for the vet to visit at 10am on Sunday to put Erin to sleep and for the crematorium representative to arrive at 11am to take her away to be cremated. It’s not an easy thing they do and must be difficult for them all daily, but knowing they are helping animals and their owners in their time of need, I do hope brings them comfort.
